Fred has been playing professionally for more than 30 years. Since playing his first paid show with the "Flying Dog Band" in 1978, he has special ties to the Tampa Bay area. With his band Southern Snow, Fred spent 10 years on the road playing the rock and roll circuit up and down the East Coast. From New York to Key West, the band opened for acts such as Foghat, Marshall Tucker, Wet Willie, Pat Travers, Night Ranger, 38-Special, the Box Tops and Bad Company, to name a few.
One of Fred's most memorable gigs was the role of Ronnie VanZant in the Lynyrd Skynryd tribute band, "Second Helping." For 2 years the band toured through Canada, Mexico and most of the U.S. Other local groups include Soup Bone and Heatseeker. Always driven to be "more than a juke box," Fred is busy writing, recording and performing his own special brand of original works at venues big and small. He has become a regular attraction at many of the popular tiki bars throughout the Gulf and Nature Coasts of Florida.
